Construction underway at Richards.

Construction has officially commenced at Richards, marking a major milestone in bringing the masterplan to life.

Work has already been completed to upgrade Bandon Road (see photo) which will facilitate the start of construction for new industrial land in the northern section of the site. Once complete, this pad will deliver prime industrial land ready for future building activity and long-term development.

David Bedingfield, Chief Executive Officer of Sakkara, said:

“This stage represents the first tangible step in transforming the Richards vision into reality, setting the foundation for future infrastructure and investment. It’s a really exciting milestone to formally kick off the new suburb’s creation.”

Planning is already progressing for the next phase – preparing the Development Application for the Spine Road – which will further unlock access and connectivity across the site.
